About the role
We are looking for a UK based Accessibility Coordinator to join us over the summer. This role's primary responsibility is to assist the Accessibility Manager in providing an inclusive environment for all of our accessibility customers across Far and Beyond’s outdoor events.
Responsibilities
Playing a pivotal role in shaping the accessibility offering across a variety of world-renowned events ensuring Far and Beyond and our clients are compliant with DDA regulations in the provision of accessible facilities across our project portfolio.
Supporting the Accessibility Manager in reviewing and approving incoming applications for onsite accessibility facilities and using the data captured to assist in ensuring the correct level of facilities are supplied per event.
Liaising with festival event management, health & safety and security when required.
Supporting the Accessibility Manager in coordinating both the advance and on site provision of accessibility facilities across each event site.
Assisting the Accessibility Manager to ensure compliance in Health & Safety and government legislation relating to accessibility.
Ensuring accessible facilities are in good working order and readily usable throughout the duration of every event, reporting any issues or repairs accordingly.
Responding to any incoming communications from accessibility customers via email, phone or letter in a timely and appropriate manner as directed by the Accessibility Manager.
Presenting a high level of customer service at all times; both in written and in person communications. At all times demonstrating a genuine level of care, empathy and ultimately a positive resolution wherever possible.
About you
Experience: Demonstrable experience in event management, with a focus on accessibility and inclusivity.
Leadership Skills: Effectively coordinate tasks and collaborate across various departments for a unified accessible experience.
Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of health & safety regulations concerning accessibility and proven ability to ensure compliance in a festival/event setting.
Organisational Skills: Strong organisational prowess to manage processes, facilities, and the application system effectively.
Passion for Inclusivity: A genuine passion for making events accessible to diverse audiences, coupled with creativity in implementing innovative solutions.
Excel in collaborative efforts, partnering with event management, health & safety experts, and security teams to develop pioneering accessibility solutions.
Committed to making Creamfields and Download accessible to all, driven by an unwavering dedication to inclusivity for diverse audiences' equal access to unforgettable experiences.
Effortlessly work with an accessibility staff team and seamlessly integrate with security operations, fostering a unified approach to accessibility across the festival site.
Unparalleled grasp of health & safety regulations within accessibility contexts, ensuring stringent compliance in the dynamic festival setting.
Meticulous attention to detail in managing processes, facilities, and intricate systems, pivotal in maintaining top-notch accessible facilities.
This role may also work on other projects over the summer which are not related to accessibility, for example accreditation, guest list
Salary
£40,000 per annum (pro rata)

Full time (5 days per week)
Dates
Monday 3rd March 2025 - Friday 19th September 2025
Location
London office (Central) when advancing, with occasional working from home
Travel as required per project. (Travel expenses covered for projects only)
Working Hours
Generally Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm or 10am – 6pm, and extra hours as needed.
Onsite hours vary in length but are generally 8am – 8pm (and longer on show days) - this can also include weekends.
